Career colleges are nothing new: alternately known as vocational or technical schools, they have been part of Canada's post-secondary education since the late 19th century. Despite their long history, they are often overlooked when it comes to student school searches. However, Canada's career colleges have much to offer that the larger institutions can't provide, and so the career colleges have a unique and specialized role within Canada's post-secondary education system and should be part of any student's school considerations.
